# Swatchly

> Swatchly is a free, fast color palette generator. Press the spacebar to generate harmonious palettes, lock the colors you like, and export to PNG, SVG, PDF, CSS, SCSS, Tailwind, JSON, CSV, XML or Adobe ASE. Every feature is free: no account, no ads, no paywall.

Key facts:
- Price: free. There is no paid plan and no feature limits.
- Palettes hold 2 to 20 colors. Palettes are saved in the browser without sign-up.
- Generation works in the OKLCH color space with these harmonies: auto, monochromatic, analogous, complementary, split-complementary, triadic, tetradic, square.
- Accessibility: built-in WCAG 2.x contrast checks with automatic fixes, and simulation of 8 color vision deficiencies (protanopia, protanomaly, deuteranopia, deuteranomaly, tritanopia, tritanomaly, achromatopsia, achromatomaly).
- Shareable URLs: every palette has a URL of the form https://swatchly.xyz/generate/<hex>-<hex>-…, for example https://swatchly.xyz/generate/1b264f-3e5c76-a3c4f3-f4e9cd-e07a5f.
- Built in Rust and WebAssembly; runs on Cloudflare's edge network.
